Dude, dont talk shit about what you dont know. The H22 auto is just as strong as the manual, and when it comes to speed. The 1/4 mile times for the automatic and manual JDM 4th gen Prelude VTEC's were exactly the same.

Autos are not bad when boosted. As long as you maintain them you will be fine. As far as manuals and autos boosted it is all the same. You can fry your manual just as fast as the auto if you are not driving it right. You can beat the shit outta the auto just as much as the manual and it will hold up.

But if you have any doubts about the auto being boosted in a fourth gen ask aznbadass92lx (Adam) He had his boosted and had no probs and said it would glide through gears like his friends boosted manuals.

Autos are not bad when boosted.

You can fry your manual just as fast as the auto.

yup, you gotta remember, when the manual guys boost their accords, the stock clutch is usually out the door in a few thousand miles, so they DO upgrade. I've seen a few boosted auto 4th gens go through fried rings before the actually tranny gets bad.

heres what my brother did, he hade a 90 camry 4 banger with a auto trans, he added an oil cooler to the trans and the trans out lasted the motor, hes a huge fan of auto trans being boosted.........turbo+high stall converter=brake reving and launching off the line with boost, with that combo he made 196 at the wheels.....not bad with a 2L auto 4 door he has a vid for him running a 90 vette with a moded 5.7L and a 6 speed he lost by no more then 2 1/2 cars

how can u do maintenance on a auto tranny on the cb7..... lol
u can't change the filter
u can't change the oil regulary<<<<<in reality u can but its not a good idean when it comes to magnet componens in the tranny
u can't flush<<<same reason as above....

its not a good idea to bost on a auto cb7 because of the electronic controle tranny.....
but if u manualy shit then that is a little better. it won't engage the gear as fast as the manual cb7 but i will do the work on not letting red line and blowing those piston rings.....

no one is an expert on why do auto tranny fail. is it because the internal filter gets cloged,,, is it the preasure plates,,, is it the gears or is it the FAMOUS honda tranny problem<< u know with the second gear overheating lmao....

will it handle bost? no one knows for sure.... there are lucky peple that had their tranny lasted a long time... and there are people like me that never went over 4k and the tranny went 2 years after i bought the damn car....

but we aware that if mess with the auto tranny u gona have to be an expert to put it into specs.... and need a lot of tools for it.

but if it blows on u then u can get a replacement and replace it faster than a manual tranny lol and watch out with that throttle and tranny cable its a bitch to adjuste it.

i'll join u with the automagic/turbo accord. but first i have to finish my manual/turbo project accord and then i will boost the auto. i've just been waiting on a cheap but decent manifold for the automagic. i have enuff parts to boost both of my accords but i just need a manifold for the automagic accord that will fit a t3/t4. i may just end up buying the ssautochrome to go on my automagic. then i can start the ghetto autochrome-automagic-accord krew... and piss everyone off for having an automagic/autochrome combination.

i still really dont see a problem with boosting an automatic. Hmm...whats wrong with adding a tranny fluid cooler.... or changing the fluid here and there? I mean a tranny will last depending on how you drive it. If ur constantly beating the car to poop ur gonna blow something, but if you do some mods it should last just fine. Manually shifting an auto isnt all that great for them as it is.....i may not be certain but with uberdata cant you adjust shifting points for the torque converter????

ok look, i have had a lot of people boost their auto honda's and the tranny fries quicker than shit. And look what fun is it to drive a car you just put a turbo on without runnng the hell out of it. i live in a country town and me and my frieds race here and down in the city, turbos and non. I run the shit out of my 5 spd and it doesn't bother it a bit. The cv shaft is a different story. so i have reason why i now the autos are crap. i wish people wouldn't get on here and start running there mouth on something they have no clue about.
