Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Sorry it's small. Imagestation is a piece of doo-doo, but you get the idea. Peak HP was 269.80 but there is more mid-range power, it just wasn't shown on the peak HP graph.

d112: It was on a Dynojet.

hmmm...what was all that spiking in ur torque curve? Spikes don't count for peak tq numbers. I'm saying you have 245-248wtq based on the dyno sheets. Cause anything higher was a spike.

Good question. I don't pretend to understand that crap, that's what I pay my tuner to do, haha! He explains basics, tells me if somethings wrong, I fix it based on that or make it better. Than he adjusts. Circle of life.

looking at the graph, i would try and go back to the dyno when its reading correctly. Horsepower is calculated from torque, and if the torque is not reading right, your horsepower isnt right either.

Yay! First post in the main forum!

                              I just finished my F22B DOHC on F22B2 block, with a s16g...
just working on the tuning myself...tedious.

I have the full throttle tuned to a decent safe range (10afr working upwards), but the vaccuum map is hard to tune as the AFR's seem to jump around.
Not too sure on which readings to use for the vacuum tuning (1st gear, 2nd gear, 3rd gear...etc)...3rd and 4th are pretty dang hard to get readings from 2000-6000rpm at anywhere from 20-5inches merc.

Anyways, nice numbers on that 16g...
I know with my budget tune i Logged a 0-60 of 5.3sec and a 1/4 mile trap speed of 165kmph (I'm in canada)

I hope to have some decent numbers as well....just trying to get street tune as good as possible before i find someone to dyno tune it.

How much timing did your tuner add? ANy idea?

I'm staying safe right now with around 19deg at 4000rpm at 8psi rising a little past that.

Ok, well keep us posted on the torque issues.

92ex: Haha, you like that? I'm not going to pretend to understand something I have no idea about. So I rely on my tuner who does.

R33: Yeah, I'd like to do a few more dyno runs to get the numbers right. Tuning is done, car runs great, until I change shit at least.

mtnickel: Congrats on her running right! As far as any settings, I have no idea. I haven't done any of my own tuning, just the wrenching and driving. Sorry I can't be anymore help, but keep us updated with your progress as well.
