Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

P72's are hard to come buy and you'll fork over $200+

If you can tweak other aspects of the ECU like fuel maps, VTEC, etc...there has to be a way....it's prolly just cuz no one has found it yet, hiding info or it's in progress..that's what's cool & challenging about this area....everything's has been said it couldn't be done..til it has

Cool man. BTW, I didn't have any negative vibes with my comments above Just FYI.

I'm not very knowledgeable in this area just yet, but I know this is the right way, it's just obvious to me. However, I feel I have the right attitude & a decent background knowledge to make something happen through research and help/guidance from others that are already into this. So I'm looking forward to the challenge. I wish you could just drop what you're doing and just go with the flow on this ... aka carry my project through right now until I finish it.

I'm happy that I've got it going though, cyl headwork and intake manifold work are done. I just need to pay up and it'll be shipped back!

we talked last nite on aim honda fan and u/me/....hell we ALL have many questions to ask so lets start with this thread and some of the questions u've asked me that i can answer.

Download web addresses for Uberdata, EcuControl, Crome, and etc can be found a pgmfi.org

          Uberdata - www.ecimulti.org/uberdata/
Rom editor that writes the fuel/ignition/rev limits/etc. onto an erasable memory chip such as the 27C256 (UV erasable) and the 29C256 (electronicaly erasable)
You can use any eprom programmer that is compadable. The most popular are those from batronix.com

Crome - www.pgmfi.org/phorum/ (look in software)
Same thing as Uberdata just a different format and more no0b friendly i guess u could say. As stated above Wikked writes the maps in uber and smoothes them out in Crome

          EcuControl - www.ecucontrol.com
Real-time gauge cluster pretty much. It needs the max233a to connect 4 pin wires to the ecu and then has a serial port to connect to ur laptop (rather this is what i'm using atleast)
This program displays in both table and gauge function the:
          A/F ratio
          Speedometer
          Boost
          Map Sensor
          Water Temperature
          Oil Temperature ( i believe)

OK thats a quick run down guys i'll be back to post a little more later tonight...post your questions and i'll reply promptly. There is a site that sells a "honda ecu chipping package" i just have to find it again and post it. Total cost of the

chipping parts + Eprom programmer + ECU
          $30 $60-$90 $60-200

Having a fully tunable standalone in your car for less than and the same functionality as a hondata unit...priceless

Has anyone bought a Wideband yet? I need to save a little bit more before i can order one. its to bad we all didnt live closer to each other we could just buy one and share it haha. damn things are expensive!

I think im gonna pick this one up soon. Im liking its featurs and the fact that i dont need to buy a display because i can use my laptop. http://www.zeitronix.com/Products/zt2/zt2.htm

Wow thanks for the link for that wideband! $280 is a fuckin steal for a wideband O2 sensor setup! I was gonna buy that AEM UEGO wideband setup (around $400) but I didn't need the display, so thanks for the link!

Tip: The AEM UEGO Wideband isn’t really compadable with most datalogging software or devices from my research…the PLX wideband is more universal from what I can tell

Man, I can't wait to get into this. Since it seems I'm at a freeze for now in terms of saving up money for my next project phase...I may as well start dedicated more time into researching this.

the p75 was a dud and didn't even start the car, bought a p06 but decided not to chip it cause it had burned components on the circuit board, bought a p05 and ordered the chipping parts again and they should be here by monday at the latest...i'm hoping they get here today

                        http://www.moates.net/gmecm/hworder.html

                        the package is "UBER1"

and the eprom programmer is "BURN1"

I'm not using the same programmer tho...i got mine from hong kong off ebay
