Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Forget about spending $300

    Datalogging capable.. DIY kit.

I'm really trying to get one of these fixed up for you guys before I make it down there, I have a lead on a free toyota wideband 4 wire sensor.. would just need to find a way to bastardize it over, otherwise I need to start scrounging for a 92-95 civic VX wideband o2 sensor (5 wire, non cali version).

I've heard those DIY widebands aren't very good. They over heat easily and etc. I don't know cause I haven't personally made one. But I was really thinking about doing it and after reading various comments about them from people who had done it on pgmfi.org. I decided to spend my free time on something else.

Maybe if it's cheap enough I'll make one though, hehe.

        AHEM!

WoOoOoOoOoO!!! po5 works bishes!!!! WoOoOoO. I've got it running and its only throwing a code 17 (VSS) at me...it was throwing the famous code 41 (02 heater) but i managed to get rid of that. It runs fine as a daily driver right now. And i'll be experimenting some more with different maps today to see which one is closest to stock.

About the wideband i'll decide today or sometime this week if i want to order it. I may just buy the zeiontrix, use it, buy the diy wideband, compare results, and sell the zeiontrix if they are very similar results

        once again....WoOoOoOoOo!!!

What bin are you running? One of the ones Carlos has or something you brewed up yourself?

You'll have to forgive me as it's really hard to keep track of all the projects going on right now but are you boosting at the moment or still running NA?

Glad you got the P05 issue worked out... did you have to convert it to P06 spec as far as the heated O2 is concerned or what?

Running N/A, found some oil in the spark plug area...just replaced that shit in like february!!!...oh well i wanna check the torque on the headstuds and make sure the valves are within spec anyways. Cause its getting harder and harder to start this car. I added in the NPN transistor but it didn't do anything so i just disabled it in uberdata for the time being. What i did was just take the stock p06 bin and added a little fuel in certain places. She does ok but that oil is making things real hard. I don't even think she'll act right with the pt3.
