Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    to make your motor safe......
well i am sure others will come and give the 3 page rules on turboing a motor.. for now i will say this.
prepare to maintence your car almost twice as much.
just for safety cautions. (my opinion)
wow actually scratch that,, i don't wanna get into all this, but yes you just probly need to adjust your rocker arms.. unless it's more severe

I was looking on the sight, isn't there a sticky on rocker arm adjustment? I thought there was but can't find anything.

if youre motor's giving you signs of trouble now... i'd figure those out before you boost it. otherwise, youre just causing loads more trouble for yourself down the road. im speaking from experience.

F22s are kinda noisy anyways. they arent like the new engines. check valve lash as stated above just to be sure.

our injectors are noisy too...so that can add to the ticking.

Yep a little bit of noise is normal esp on the F series, the noise is most likely piston slap, if everything else is in spec.
