    Gauging Interest......

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot but I just talked to my boss and he owns a racing component manufacturing company and he is interested in how many people would be interested in getting parts made for our cars. What does our cars need? (Example: Control Arms, Spnidles, etc....). He told me they are already in the process of making valve covers, doing head work, so and so forth. Let me know what our cars need and if there is a good amount of interest, we have custom parts coming our way. You guys let me know, this could be a good opportunity for cb7's!!!!

I hope you guys are interested. My boss races for nascar and super truck series and he is in the process of getting my 90 LX some UCA with camber adjustability. It will be made out of billet steel and is going to be painted red. I think this will look f'ing dope. Is there anything any of you could think of that is not made for our cars? I can let him know what we need. I am also getting LCA's made for my car as well. You guys don't sleep on this. I don't want to be the only cb7 out with this stuff. John

I hope you guys are not thinking I am trying to sell you things right now. I just need to know what our cars need so I can get them made. My car will be the guinea pig to see if it works. I want to know other than UCA's do we need spindles, LCA's, what else? If all works out then my boss will start selling these. Let me know, I need to know by next week. I am also talking with Team Showcase for custom parts as well. You guys need to get a piece of this.

A good camber adjustment for the front would be nice... without banging fender too much.

A nice 3 point front strut bar that works in swapped accords.

And finally a quick remove valve cover would be nice. They make them for muscle cars(4 clips you just unclip or clip... no messing with the 10 valve cover nuts)

The problem is most of the people with accords dont have much extra money to spend, and they would rather pay half of the cost for something that just looks good.

Im not saying i'd spend a huge amount either, but i wont buy anything if it doesnt make a real difference.

aero3685, this is really helpful. That is what I am looking for. My boss told me today that he is willing to make these parts but they will be made is mass production. So this is where I would need all cb7 tuners to chime in and let me know how many would be interested. Like I said, I am not asking for money. I just want to get these parts made for our cars and he would sell them online. Thanks a mill for the reply.

It would be nice to see parts made for the cb7. I'm not sure if this is a good suggestion or not, but do you think he can make interiors stuff? Like the door pannels for instance.

Hey, no suggestion is a bad one. I just did not want to have nobody say anything and have this pass us by. I will run this by him. I think some lightweight door panels would be awesome. I will let you know.

Like Aero said, a strut bar similar in design to the Neuspeed brace that fits over a H22 would be a huge hit among the swapped crowd.

I have the Neuspeed bar now and if I swap I'm going to lament the loss of the bar as the bar will not clear the swap.

Yeah that UCA is pretty much it. I wonder if we can use the Civic arms...

A cheaper alternative to the DH manifold would be nice too...

Front strut brace (the triangle one)?
A rear strut bar that would accomodate a subwoofer box?

How about just a solid rear strut brace that isn't adjustable like the cheap pieces. I was looking at the rear panels once before I put my seats back in, and I was wondering if an X-brace could be made (like the Evo) that bolts to the body where those curved metal panels that line the trunk hole goes (the piece that has the wiring harness on the back of it).
