after researching 16" wheels i believe that 205/55/16 would be the best looing size on the 4th gen accords.

            just my $0.02

205/50/16s. enough sidewall on the tires for a comfortable ride, and at the same time, the 50s profile lessen the chance of the tires rubbing with the 2in. drop.

I'd have to agree with Francis on this one. If you're over a 2" drop in the front (which you are) you can get away with less sidewall and run a 205-55. If you had a smaller drop, I'd go with what hondatuner4267 said and get 205/55.

205/55/16 is gonna be a bit tall.....fuck, i can't even remember the stock size anyway, so blah

i know i ran 205/50/15's because they were close, or 195/60/15, so a 205/55/16 has to be taller, which would make your speedometer read slower than what you are really doing

It should be about 1/2" larger in radius than the stock tire. I have a 215/45 on my 17, which is roughly equivalent to that size. My speedometer read 2-3 mph high when I bought the car, and it's still in roughly that margin.

The only reason I mentioned that I would run a size like this was in the drop situation. You can cheat the wheel gap a little by running a bigger tire with a less severe drop.

But I do agree with you that a 205/50 tire is ideal if you've got a decent drop on the car.

205/50/16 to be accurate on your speedo. if you want a better look but it may be too small go 205/45/16.

                      check this site out:

remember the stock tire size for an EX is 195/60/15 for reference.

Cb7shot, note that the resulting fender well gap is also influenced somewhat by which struts you are going to use. Apparently they don't all have the exact same spring perch location.

I can vouch for what Deckeda says. Compare my ride height to that of Owequitit's car. We both have the same springs, but our struts differ. His car is noticeably lower than mine.

KYB AGX are known to kill your drop by probably close to 0.3". That is why I went with a larger tire...to "cheat" the wheel gap. However, if I was lower, I could have run a smaller tire and not had to worry about that.

That's why I was saying depending on yourself, but a 50 and a 55 series tire is an option.
