I wanted some nice tires for my 14s, I called a reputable tire company.. He said recommended tire size was 185 70 14, that I shouldn't go so low on a 14in wheel. I want a 196 50 tire.

Stock size is 185/70/14 or 195/60/15. Go to the link Lummie provided, put one of them in the before window and start comparing tire sizes for your rims until you have the least amount of variance.

sorry to bring this back from the dead, but can I put 205/65-14 size tires on the stock steelies.
