The Machine shop I took my car to Ordered H22A4 bearings instead of H22A1 bearings I want to know if I can use them or not so that I can just go ahead and order new ones. Please I need the answer ASAP I have the machine shop waiting! Thanks in advance!

some times i've seen bearings(shells) that are different but phyically the same size. vg30 ( 300zxTT) uses the same size bearing as the vg30 in the pickup truck. yet the material (babit) is harder on the pickup truck engine bearings

Honda bearing have colors on the sides. the colors indicate the size of the bearing. if you as the dealer they won't evan know what you are talking about when you give them the engine code. they only deal with vins and models. go with the machine shop idea or maybe evan contact the manutacturer of the bearings. they won't know about the colors but they will be able to tell you what your motor needed and what you actually got.Comment
