5 lug conversion all new way

Alright it seems that there is no information about using the full front spindles from the v6 accord that are 5 lug 98-01? Respectively. Someon confirmed that the hubs will not fit for the conversion... With the inner diameter or something being smaller or what ever. So I went down to my friends junkyard here in dfw and took some front spindles off the following vehicles to compare them: 90-93accord, 94-97 accord and 99 accord v6 5 lug and last but not least a 96 3.2 tl ( I actually think these will work too) I measured the first 3 and compared them and yeppers they all have really similar design and same lower ball joints. Now you CANNOT switch the upper a arm but the rest of the 99 v6 knuckle fit like a charm. I have them bolted in and look beautiful. The 96 tl's front arm of the knuckle is almost identical as well. There was a slight difference in the bend but not enough I do not think to warrant not using them. They were missing the brake lines and one caliper so I stuck with the 99. I will post pix of this section soon. Now on to the rears:

My newly aquired cb has rear drums... Can't roll like that so... I know the lure rear discs will work but I was NOT about happy about the thought of buying 4 lug rear disc just to tear them up to make 5 lug rear. But reluctantly I went in search and landed both rear 4 lug disc from a 95 ex for 75 with brake cables and all. Then I was looking at that 96 3.2 rear 5 lug and I'll be dang.... They have identical mounting locations, identical calipers and mounting brackets and identical length brake cables and all. The differnce is the depth of the rotor and that it sits further off the spindle due to the hub being about 1/2" longer. So I went ahead and compared them fully. Upper arms are the same, rear suspension same with same mounting points, same rear sway bar mounts inthe trailing arms, same trailing arms as the 90-93 and the 94-97. Just the distance.... So we will see soon..... Pix to come.

these are the tl rears I will take some shots later of the mounting points on them so everyone can SEE they are identical to CB/CD
    This is the body style
I know there is some rust on the rotor, it has been raining alot here and that is all surface from sitting in the rain.... The rotors are new with new pads.... they are getting turned tomorrow.
This is kind of a dark shot but you can see the tie rod mounted JUST like cb
here it is on the 00 v6 4dr EX
a better shot of the tie rod mounted to the underside just like the CB

You should make an exact list of what parts you used.
a lot of people would jump into this because the prelude parts are so damn expensive.

I always knew it would work.... just never had the guts to try it. Wish I had gone this route, wouldn't have had to deal with the negative camber. Plus 6th gen 5 lug knuckles are super abundant, esp with people junking the cars cause of the shitty trannys. 3.2TL rear knuckles are gonna be tough to find though... that's a rare car...

you know if you just ordered the wheels to fit the rear hubs then this setup is perfect... i will go to the jy and get these parts because i know they are there and try it out... i am already rear disc so all I need is to swap the spindle in the rear... i am going tomorrow... this has to be good... i got everything needed besides that...

I want pics with your set please !!

I can email pix right now only cause I am changing internet services at home.... so I dont have any way to post pix. All I have right now is my iPhone. my email is da9b16@yahoo.com

                        JUST to CLARIFY:

I will have this all bolted up this weekend. The fronts are already on and I am using ingalls camber kits. I will show you what all that I can.
                        2.5TL are still 4 lug
3.2tl 96-98 I think (I KNOW FOR SURE THE 96-97) is the body style have the rear I am talking about. Again the rear rotor is like 1" longer (protrudes further out from the hub) than the accord does. I dont see this being an issue once wheels are placed on with correct offset.

So your saying the Accord V6 knuckles fit. Finally someone tried this. I was always wondering if they would. Did you try the rears yet? I couldn't make out if your said that or not.

The rears I am using are 96 acura 3.2tl rears and they are identical in mounting places and where everything connects. I have NOT put them on yet... I just picked them up today and I did not have time to put them on yet. They will be on shortly.
