    H22a coolant sensor

So I swap the neck off my F22 with the sensor to the H22, but do I need to connect the sensor in the T-Stat housing as well??

2 of them are fan swiches. 1 is ecu and 1 is the temp gauge.

There is only 1 ECT sensor that connects to the ECU. This thread isn't referring to it. It is asking about the 2 fan switches (A & B). They do not go to the ECU. They go to the fan control module. There are also 2 temp sensors, 1 for the gauge and the other is the ECU ECT sensor. The gauge sensor doesn't go to the ECU ether. The 2 wire ECT under the distributor is the only one that sends it's signal to the ECU.

So I plug my original F coolant sensor that I swap to the H and need to wire up the T-Stat coolant sensor that came on the H?? The F motor only has one sensor and the H only has one sensor, why do I need both wired up when I do the swap??

The ECT sensor is located in the head. Right beside the temp gauge sensor. Under the distributor.

The 2 coolant temp switches for the rad fans are located in the thermostat housing (switch A) and the water neck (switch B). As far as I know both the H and F series have them. Can you post a picture of the sensor that you are talking about?

I know about the one in the head that's not a problem, it's the other two sensors. I'll post pics this afternoon

JDM H22 don't have the water neck sensor. Sensor B is responsible for the fan coming on after the engine is off. I haven't run that sensor since I swapped motor with no problems.
