ex and dx body swaps

are the body parts on the 90 ex and dx swappable. also are the throttle bodies swappable?

Yes. The only difference is the front lip however.

I've always been under the impression the TB's are the same on the F series motors.

On the body of the 90 Accord, the only differences is:

DX, no painted bumpers, no lip
LX, painted bumpers, no lip
EX, painted bumpers, lip

The bumpers are identical through the model range, just paint or not. The lip is just an add on piece that fits on any bumper.

Throttle bodies are the same, intake manifolds are different from DX/LX to the EX and SE.

ive heard that the ex has more horsepower than the lx and dx, does this mean i will have to have the dx tb tuned for my ex?

To make it into an EX you would need the EX ecu, Intake manifold and Exhaust manifold....And if you want dual tip muffler. And If you are gonna do all that you might aswell go out and get an A6 intake manifold and ecu off a 91SE, 92EX, 93EX/SE.

well i have a ex and im putting a dx tb on because my throttle body sensor went out and the only way to replace it is by switching the whole tb. thanks for all your help
