yeh, i just bought a JDM F22B distributor for $140 shipped from japan. ($50 shipping, so $90 for the dizzy)

so whenever that gets in, it'll get put on.

the flywheel, i guess i'm just going to get an oem replacement from honda. they're $140, and the only ones i can find close to $140 that are aftermarket, is the fidanza 7.5lb(wayy too light.), and the XTD flywheel, which has no markings for the timing belt, so i don't know.

also, can anybody point me in the direction to buy all of the gaskets/seals, preferbly in a package?

ebay or autozone/advance auto parts sell a bunch of gaskets in the kits.

If your interested, I have an oem lightened flywheel to about 14-15lbs, I can't remember exactly. MRX had it lightened and never used it because he got the fidanza. It'd be too heavy to ship but we may be able to work something out if your interested

ughhh i don't want to call honda!

actually i've got to anyway, so i'll talk to them about the gaskets and stuff too.

          but, just out of curiosity

what are everybodys opinions on these two links? i'm heading out tomorrow, to get some stuff, and figured i'd hit up the auto parts stores and see what they've got in stock, and calling honda, but what about these?

i used one of those seal kits... it comes with just about everything, and it was pretty good quality.

awesome, that's a good thing to hear.

it was around $88 shipped, so we'll see whats up when it gets here.

okay, so me and a friend of mine were trying to take the head of the motor off tonight, and we ran into the problem.

the bolts holding the head on aren't coming off for anything. we've tried a breakerbar, and just the muscle of the both of us, and nothing.

                    any suggestions or anything guys?

pipe at the end of the breaker bar for some leverage

                          this is the best way.

they turn the same way as all the other bolts, right?

lucky me, there's no axles on the car right now. new ones are being shipped over here now. haha.

the engine is in the car? that's the best way to do it, otherwise you have to restrain it which i found to be a pain

oh, nope. the engine is definatley not in the car. it's on a crate in the garage.

here's my current work station, haha.

and here's a little peek at how the engine bay is coming along. i'm still not finished, but here's my current progress on it. before/after
