In the past couple weeks, I've gone from the OEM SRI to a modified 94-97 Weapon R Hyper with a generic mushroom filter, and I've put in a 421 header and downpipe, running through a stock catback and an SE dual outlet muffler. I've noticed that she runs rich enough to smell it when she starts up cold, and there are some very mild flat spots in the acceleration curve under normal driving, nothing under WOT. Should I be looking for a vacuum line problem? Should I have reset the ECU or something? I can't see where swapping the intake would require it, but I didn't have these issues before. It's not a huge deal, but this is my baby and I take pride in the way she runs.

Yes reset your ecu you will notice the difference. FYI, Whenever you change any part that deals with the air fuel mixture or ignition you should always reset the ECU. Even if it's just an OEM replacement part. The ECU works better when it has the opportunity to relearn with the new parts.Originally posted by visualpoetShould I have reset the ECU or something? resetting the ECU via the ECU fuse will not reset your radio presets or clock or anything else. by pulling the fuse, it just cuts power to the ECU for it to relearn on the next startup. if you reset it via removing the negative battery cable, then yes you have to reprogram everythingOriginally posted by visualpoetfriggin sweet. I'll reset her at lunch today. I never had to reset crap with my old Corolla and I didn't want to reprogram the stereo, but it's worth it to have the Accord running better. THANKS!
