damn, I've been reading through this and I hope you guys solve the problem! Just in case, I've got some spare F22 injectors that are good and working if any of you need them. I coulda sworn it was either the main relay or ignitor at first when the thread first popped up. But good work in diagnosing it fully!

I'll keep this in mind if my car ever starts developing this weird type of prob. in the future.

im bout to change my injectors saturday with another fuel rail so i'll let everyone know what happens.

oops, didnt tell everyone in this thread that my car died yesterday and would start but would die again. this time the tach would drop so replaced the distributor and problem fixed. it was hot again that time and it probably killed the ignition coil.

i got some header wrap in hopes to bring the engine bay temps down.

maybe some type of heat shield needs to be in place....like for the OEM header? Is there a way to make a heat shield to fasten over the header? I've noticed my bay temps are much hotter than normal as well.

2/3 bolt holes are junk. plus the header wrap looks cooler sinc ei got it in black

if the header cracks, then ill just pull one from the junk yard. there's tons of a4's just that they cut the downpipe for the cat.

i got my a4 header installed but no heat shield for it. need to buy some more header wrap since Nor. Cal is having a damn heat wave.

ugggh... more stuttering and idle issues today.

recheck plugs and tested resistance on IACV valve, it all passed. re did my timing since i replaced my dizzy last week. i also raised the idle to 950 and my car doesnt seem to shake so a little more gas but fuck it.

changed fuel injectors and still same problem. took awhile of driving around for the problem to come up but it did after like 5 minutes.

next big thing is the distributor. just gonna buy a new one.

my car drives fine. i know eric is still having issues...he has a CEL for the IACV.

swapped it out. dont have the code anymore. test drive it tomorrow. right as i got done swappin it pops bbq some ribs & my girl came over so yea, got lazy afterwards lol my bad
