Black Boxes - disable the BRAKE lamp failure indicator?

Is there anyway to disable the "Brake Lamp" indicator with out taking apart the cluster? I believe I heard that you can do something with the black boxes so the light doesn't come on?
    wat?

    Bump.

LED conversions are cool, but seeing that light all the time is not.

In my 90 lx I had to replace one of my "black boxes" in the taillights to get the light out

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

No, we need to bypass them somehow because we are running LED's and they trip the light.
          wat?

permanently bypass the BRAKE failure indicator?

                veddy simple eh.

it all starts at the brown box in the driver side outer tail light..

cut the white/green wire (or just remove the pin) that went to the brown box, and connect it to Ground(-). you can tap into the other solid black wires that go along with the tail light wiring on that side.

                voila!
