Whats wrong with pennzoil? I use that stuff all the time. It hasn't given me problems yet.

The garaged cars get amsoil high performance racing oil, OEM, or occasionally Eneos.

Pennzoil soaks up water really bad, or it has for me. In my v-8's we used to run it all the time till i took my VC off and the oil was a nasty gooey mess all over.. If you live in a moist climate its no bueno lol

Castrol sythentics, RP or amzoil are my oils of choice and ive never run into issues with them...

Quaker works too if you want good cheap stuff lol

then cut a fram in half you'll instantly see the difference...

Fram uses some nasty internal stuff that is just terrible quality..

My grandpa showed me this when i was about ten helping him out with his 49 Plymoth coupe.

the only reason i'll run fram is if its the only thing i can get my hands on in a pinch
Good to know , next time i'll go oem.

Yeah I've always heard Purolator is bad, at least the "classic" version. IDK I just always looked at MOST filters being created about equal...that's how it should be anyway

                    life is good.

i've been running Joe Gibbs Driven 10w-40 or 10w30 i'm not sure right this second. Its a full synthetic developed by the Joe Gibbs race team for hotrods. Its NOT recommended for cars with Cat. converters but since mine has been hollow for 2 years now, I obviously don't give a shit about that. It WILL eat your converter. But on the plus side, the oil is amazing. In a friend's racing stock car, the oil made him change the timing cause of how much more freely the rotational assembly moved.

In my F22ax the engine sounds better and revs much quicker. the top end screams and would pull harder if not for the restrictive exhaust. I haven't ran other syns to compare but its a hell of alot better than any conventional i've ran! if for nothing more than the butt dyno and throttle response, the oil was worth it.

I also run a K&N oil filter. they use the same part number for basically all hondas including the S2K. and at 6 bucks a filter, why would you go for anything less?
