The f20a is a destroked f22a. The fact your using a pt3 is probably the problem, as the pt3 is meant to run f22a1 or f22a4. To run your motor properly you'll either need the correct ecu for a f20a, or to get a p06 and have it chipped, and your motor tuned.

check signal wire at pcm with a voltmeter and see if you have a fluctuating voltage.

p06 is from 92-95 civics if i'm correct. The accord/prelude ecu's are not chipable/tunable. The p06, p28, p72 are all examples of ecu's that are chippable/tunable. If they are chippable/tunable they can be tuned to run almost motor.

A p06 would be the easiest & cheapest ecu to find at a junkyard, and once you aquire one, you can have it chipped/modified to be the equivalent of a p28, or p72, and then tuned.
