    Gaskets

What kind of gaskets should i buy for the intake manifold and exhaust manifold, i don't want to end up wasting money on stuff that degrades quickly

im not buying the bisi intake manifold gasket either.

I don't belive that a gasket can make that kind of power, i don't care he did a dyno run

nor am i in a position to spend $50 for a small part

anyways im not debating the bisi gasket i just want suggestions on a good brand to buy

There are other companies that produce phenolic intake manifold gaskets. ALL others are going to be paper.

Exhaust, go with Felpro or Honda. They are both very durable.

OEM Honda was my first choice. They worked for 14 years. Only reason I had to replace them was becuase I took my IM off to clean it. And i replaced my exhaust manifold for a tubular header. I used OEM gaskets when everything went back together. I chose the Nippon Leakless, Ishino Gasket was another manufacturer that you can choose from for both of the gaskets.

I've never had a problem with any of the aftermarket brands for the intake manifold BUT one thing to note is that unlike the super cheap $5 ones, the Beck Arnley and Felpro gasket that are only a a bit more and have the extra rubber o-ring for the coolant passage just like the oem ones. OEM will be best but I think the Becks and Felpro are good alternatives as well.

For the exhaust, as long as it not that dimpled cheap ones made of paperish material, any of the aftermarket metal ones are ok
