Long story short, I forgot to set the motor at tdc before removing my camshaft. How can I get the timing correct again? I need to know asap lol I'm getting tired of waking up an hour earlier and taking 2 buses to school and back home which takes 1 hr 30 min compared to 20 min in the cb7. Thanks for all your help, much appreciated

Damn this took some searching and hunting, then I felt stupid because its under the Beginner Tech/performance Stick that says "read here first". I've learned that "READ HERE FIRST" means something.... http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showpost...91&postcount=1

take off that rubber plug that goes into the transmission just below the distributor. Then take a 19mm socket with a breaker bar attached and turn the engine CCW until you see a white mark on the flywheel aligned with the pointer looking through that hole you removed the plug from. Then your engine is in TDC 1 where it should be and now you can put the camshaft and align the UP mark and the two horizontal marks with the cyl. head surface.

Lol you hit the nail right on the head thats exactly the info I was able to pull up today in school. I knew I had to remove the plug, turn the crankshaft and line something up in the plug. As far as the came I figured starting it in the up positon was likely the right way to do things lol but I just wanted some clarification. Make sure the white mark is lined up with the #1 cylinder in the firing position - check that the distributor rotor is pointed at the #1 plug wire.90 LX 4dr 5 spd 396,014 (sold 1/1/2022) - MRT: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=201450
