    cold start idle problem

i been trying to solve this problem for a while, i changed the pcv, cleaned the iac, cleaned throttle body and set base idle. these did help but sill reving 2000 and 2500 rmp when cold then leveling off at 750-800 when warm, what next?? what else could be causing this problem

Sometimes could be Vacuum leaks or low Coolant.

I had the same problem... it turned out that my Sri had worn a hole in to it from rubbing on the brake control unit and then sucked a bunch of crap in and made the fitv and iacv really dirty causing a crappy running engine until at running temp. Best thing to do is fitv block of plate.

If it idles correctly when warm (as you stated), then you probably don't have a vacuum leak. When the engine is at operating temperature, shut it off, remove the top of the FITV, use a large flat blade screwdriver to turn the white ring down snug, replace the cover. On a cold morning with a cold engine, it should fast idle at about 1500-2000 when first started. As it warms up, it will drop to the 750-800 you mention.
