    Having problem with the CEL

OKay so yesterday my h22a4 cb7 drove home fine and all week. until last night I got a CEL and my cb7 wouldn't go pass 3900rpm and its sputtered to get to 4kRPM.
So I check for the CODE and the CEL stays on all the time so I unplug the iacv to see is it gave me that CODE.And nothing so I put my Stock ECU(pt6) back on and it drove fine but than I put my ECU(Chipped P28)back on and it does the same thing as before with CEL.

    Thanks in advance..

    Sounds like a bad ECU.

How was it chipped? Did you have a power fluctuation prior? Some chips lose programming rather easily. Can the shop reprogram it?

I really dont know since the ecu was chip/tune with the h22a4 when it was on the other cb7 I bought the swap from. I know it was chip by HA Motorsports

You might be better off finding a stock P13, rather than running an unknown chip... unless you can verify that it was tuned properly for your engine by a professional.

So the CEL is solid when you check (engine off, key to the II position, blue service connector jumped), but when you do something like disconnecting the IACV, you get a code? Interesting. No codes being thrown with the PT6?

I would definitely get a P13 in there ASAP. Take the P28 to a trustworthy tuner, and have them inspect it. If the P28 isn't damaged in any way, then perhaps you can get it properly tuned and all will be good.
Don't drive on that PT6 for long, or with that CEL on. You could end up doing damage to other things. The PT6 will get you around, but drive it carefully... don't go over 3000rpm if you can help it.

If you get a P13, be sure it is OBD1... There are a few OBD2 floating around out there.

Quite true. I always forget that sometimes that needs to be said...

no when i do disconnect the IACV I get no CODE the CEL just stays on. And the only CODE the the PT6 is throwing its the O2 sensor since I'm not running it..I know that the P28 was chipped by HA motorsports. And dyno tune but don't know by whom

Is the H22A4 stock other than OBD1 conversion? Shouldn't need a dyno tune on a stocker, just a P13 OBD1...

You don't need to capitalize the word "code". We can read it just fine.

So you get no codes at all when you know you should be. That definitely sounds like a bad ECU.
If the engine is stock, as wildbill said, you really don't need a dyno tuned ECU.
HA Motorsports is in California. You are in Florida... so did the previous owner have this H22A4 tuned in California?

Also, you really should be running an o2 sensor. I know you can bypass it (my P28 currently does... because I need a new one, but I'm not driving the car.) Still, the o2 sensor feedback is important for proper engine function. You could be running dangerously lean and doing damage.

Im not sure I need to find out. I know it has a ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate
Solid Hub (6 Pad) Disc ,H23 tranny and I'm running the F22 harness

                      _______
the previous owner had it chipped in cali and tune in south florida in miami to be exact. alot of stuff was deleted to this motor like o2,EGR, hard knock sensor, MAP sensor ,etc.

If the PT6 runs it ok at low RPM, then there is a good chance it is bone stock.
