    Overheating Issues

Hello Accord family , so i have been recently working on my 92 accord to get it in working order, it has been sitting for close to 9 months without running due to me not having the time or money to put into it. Ive recently begun by fixing the fast idle thermo valve that was cracked, some water hoses and a new thermostat and thermostat housing. As i was trying to bleed the coolant system with the heater on after the new thermostat housing and thermostat was installed i noticed my car was overheated, fans don't seem to turn on. I wondered if it was the coolant temp sensor i had reused from the previous housing as auto zone did not carry any. If i turn on the ac the fans go on so i'm puzzled as to why they don't turn on. I thought head gasket but i don't see any smoke coming out of the tail pipe and no coolant leakage or mixed water and oil. Anybody have any idea where or what i should be looking for?

How long till it over heats?

When it over heats feel both upper and lower hoses...are they the same temp? If not then it can be theremostat...is it OEM or aftermarket? Did you install it with the wiggle pin facing up?

When you bled the system, did you use the bleeder screw? Did you first fill up the coolant to the rim in the radiator? When the car is cold, and you open the radiator, is it full?

Does it over heat at idle, or does it over heat on the freeway, or city driving?
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
