12/17/43 cel codes....come on

Car threw a cel. Codes 12/17/43

Vss
Egr
And yeah..43

Car has new plugs,wires,cap,rotor, cleaned egr, denso o2 sensor.


I replaced all this stuff a 3 month ago chasing a stumble on acceleration. The 02 sensor finally fixed that.

Car runs fine with cel on, the cluster works 100%. As of 3 months ago (under 1000 miles) the egr was cleaned and functioning.

All I now to do is reset the ecu, check the connection for the o2 sensor

No idea why I have the vss code

Reset the ecu.....drove about 3 miles. Cel comes back on 12,17,43. I understand the egr and 43 code, they are probally related....but the vss code has me stumped.

Have you done anything related to the transmission or the VSS?

No. I had the fluid changed about a year ago, but other than that...no. I haven't even popped the hood in 4 months when the last time the cel came on and I replaced all that stuff. Last time it stumbled when I gave it gas. This time it dosent do anything besides throw the light. No drive ability issues

Is the speedometer off by a little maybe. The 2 things I know that the VSS are a part of is the speedometer and the power steering assist adjuster. I am not the best with the computer side of things so all I could suggest is mechanical problems with the items in question.

Yeah the speedo is off......but it's because of the wheels, and they been on there a year
