    Flushing the transmission cooler.

    Hey Guys,
Has any one had a clog in the tranny cooler lines or the cooler itself? I know Honda doesn't recommend flushing the tranny, but what about the cooler? Would the cooler clog or its lines? Has anyone flush the cooler before? Any DIY on how to do it without taking it off the car? Which lines to take off to do it? This might not even needed for our cars. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

The transmission cooler is built into the bottom tank of the radiator, it cannot be removed. The two lines pointed out in your leak thread are the lines to the cooler. If you want to make sure it is not clogged, disconnect both lines and use low air pressure to blow the trans fluid out of the cooler and make sure air flows through. If you're fluid is red and the transmission operates correctly, it is unlikely that the cooler is plugged.
