    Changing lower ball joints

So the time has come for me to change the lower ball joints on my 90 I have the DIY and a video. But how long would you say it takes and for the axle nut what size breaker bar do you absolutely need? Does the tie rod or brake caliper has to come off? Please any tips that would be helpful thank you.

    About an hour per knuckle.
It's easier if the whole knuckle is off the car. (Everything comes off)

I can use a harbor freight breaker bar on mines, being that you live up north, you might want to get a shop to break it loose for you...

I second having a shop break the nuts loose. Last time I tried to undo an axle nut, I broke two Craftsman 1/2 inch drive breaker bars applying about 720 ft-lbs of torque (2 ft section of pipe extending from the breaker, me - 240 lbs - standing on said pipe). Drove to a tire shop, they cracked it loose with an impact, then snugged it up for the short drive home.
