    Automatic seatbelt issue 90 cb

So we had a flood here a few days back i open my door and my carpet is SOAKED! Passenger seatbelt moves but driver side stays in front position and makes dinging noise. When I manually move it to shoulder position open door it moves towards dash but won't go back to shoulder. I unplugged it from under passenger seat (it was soaked water leaked from plugs)let it sit and dry over night but still same issue when I plug it in. Should I get another one from salvage yard? Any suggestions fellas thanks for your time.

check the fuses. My seatbelts give me funky unexplained issues from time to time as well. one day the driverside stayed forward for an entire ride and then worked fine the next day. check the door switch and that plug under the seat too. depending on how much water and where, things can short out easily.
