    Injector Nation H22 tensioner

Anyone have any experience with Injector nation? I bought their H22 22 timing tensioner, and it seems like a pretty solid piece. The same material used as KS but for $75. I know KStuned is great just wanted to know if anyone else is using the InjectorNation tensioner?

Sorry, not I. Fairly new company? I see their website domain name was created on 2013-03-16.

Yeah it's a fairly new company mostly sold their products on social media. I've only seen good reviews on them. I'm going to try them out.

There's no real science to making a reliable manual tensioner, so long as the bolt and nut aren't made of cookie dough. If it locks securely (nut stays put rather than being easy to walk itself out), I wouldn't worry about it.

i wish i a) thought of this myself b)saw it before spent money on a chunk of pretty aluminum no one will see, however being what i feel is a mandatory upgrade on any H that *i'll* come into possession of, i will try this next time...

also have fun trying to get those flat head bolts out out once they gall up and partially seize, a better way wouldve been to machine pockets for the oem hardware, or just stuck with the original kaizen speed design.

I saw the thread for this some where a while back and saved the webpage so I had the tutorial on how to create it, I didn't want to waste $80.

I'm actually going to do this to mine as soon as the cylinder head is off to the machine shop. I don't want to spend the $80+ on something I can spend $2 on the nut and bolt and put a little time into my auto tensioner housing.

i like the "ghetto" version better then the other ones besides the KS one, because of the use of a carriage bolt and its rounded head. they'll probably all need custom wrenches cut down to adjust while in the car, its a tight squeeze. I have the KS v.1 where it came with its own laser cut weird offset wrench to use along with cutting down an old 9/16ths to about 4" long. Also you can over tension the belt, along that front run a 90 degree twist is about just enough, with a couple more turns to account for the belt breaking in.(even though they dont stretch lol )
