    3.0CL Wheel Bearings

Does anyone know what is involved in replacing the front wheel bearings in a acura cl 3.0 knuckle? The photos on rockauto of the part look exactly like the bearings for our cb7s, but I would have expected them to be different due to the rotor over hub arrangement. I also expected that they would have to be pressed into and out of the knuckles but now I'm unsure.

Same arrangement as our Accords, but it is a different part number bearing. The only reason some people think they are pressed in is because they rust in and sometimes take a press to get them out. I bought a set of longer bolts with the correct thread; remove the four bearing bolts, thread in the longer bolts, then hammer on them alternately to drive the bearing out (or use a press if you have one).

The OEM service manual suggests that these bolts should be replaced if removed. For our Accords, Honda now has new bolts with a larger hex head instead of the small 12 point head bolts originally used.
