Good Afternoon,
I was on my way home from work, and my RA has bad synchos in 3rd gear. Going down the highway I was just playing with Rev matching so I can pro-long the life of my 3rd gear synchros. I was doing 75mph and when I shifted from 4th to 3rd back to 4th back to 3rd just watching the distance between revs, next thing I know I loose power. 75mph 3rd gear was about 5k RPM.
When I got home I popped the hood and saw that the spark plug wire popped out for cylinder 1 I believe (very right). Had a little bit of oil on the plug and little oil that shot out from the spark plug hole. Put the plug back in, reved it up a few times, everything was fine.
My question is, what would of caused the spark plug to pop out, they are new NGK plugs and wires and gaskets around the plugs and they are all on snug tight. Could pressure from in the head some how leaked past the gasket and popped it out, has anyone had this problem, and should I worry about it?
