Most shops will charge about an hour of labor not including any parts costs needed...and in most places labor is standardized...but shop around just to be safe...

dont goto midas, find a local little "mom&pop" shop. all the big chains will probably charge you a straight hour of labor, some of the independant shops will just charge you for the job... cause it shouldnt take an hour.

I agree....go with a local mon-n-pops muff shop. You can usually ask around and see who does good work. I had a local muff shop install my magnaflow catback and they had to make a small adjustment with the front hanger and they charged me $36 including tax. All other major muff shops wanted double or more. Plus I got to be in the shop with them as they did it.
