I'm trying to acquire a few odd pieces for my car... 2 number 42's and 2 number 31's... but hondaautomotiveparts.com wants 18.75 shipped and the parts only cost 3.50... how stupid. Anyone know where else to get parts?
did you try going to a local honda dealer and having them get it? just print out that picture and bring it with you because the parts department people usually don't know what they're doing. I usually just go straight to the dealer to avoid any shipping. And if they don't have it in stock they can order it and it usually takes a few days. anyways, good luck.
hondaautomotiveparts is just a dealer named Majestic Honda that sells their parts online... just go to your local dealer and buy the parts. a little more expensive, but no shipping. they sell every single clip and screw you can ever need for your car, so if you cant find something in store or online, jsut go to teh dealer.
edit: and duh, thanks awwsheit... the junkyard. CBs are pretty common there, unfortunately for them, but fortunately for us.
I have two number 31's and if you will send me your address I will mail them to you. They don't weight hardly anything so I will just send them to you. The other ones were broken from old age I guess, they are plastic.

I try to help all I can. Yes it probably should have been in the WTB section but that is ok, it would probably get more response here and he was really asking a question about buying it so I guess it is ok. I personally don't care where people post because this forum is to help each other as much as possible in trying to keep these older cars on the road. I also own an older Dodge diesel pickup and if it wasn't for the forum dedicated to them I would never be able to keep it on the road. I am really glad we have forums like this one because a few years ago we would have been on our own with all these problems.
