As for using a "real" catch can when going boosted...a catch can is a catch can. We need 2 because of where the pcv valve is. On civics and integras the valve is usually on the intake manifold i believe not the valve cover. So please remember to block off the pcv tube coming off the intake mani and run the pcv to an oil catch can. Run a hose from that oil catch can to to the pre-turbo intake but NOT the charge piping. Where the valve cover breather would normally go attach a hose, then a catch can with a valve cover breather on the exit for the catch can.
Hope this helps and remind me to get some pix

i dont get why honda why suck oil back into the throttle body..this must have been an error on their calculations....i do know its some type of regulation that the exhaust fumes need to go through the cat converter..but why didnt they think of the oil going into the TB...i know the Japanese are smart..but i thinked they missed this in their design...or maybe the oil is so small they were like fuck it..it would cost to much to manufacturer an oil catch can
im gonna be lazy and just buy a catch can off of ebay..im sick of finding oil in my CAI near the TB...
but again good thread TTT
Does the catch can have to be above the pcv valve (since everyone is using their strut bar) for a suction or something like that or is that just because it's the easiest plate to put it and does it decrease flow from the pcv valve to the im or anything? Could I put it lower down in the engine bay and it would still work the same?
Sorry for all the questions but I find this to be a really cool diy and I want to do it.

I was wondering that too. also some other stuff...
1. those little plastic pieces ontop of the VC where the new hose is connected to...can they be reused for the this DIY?
2.I dont have a strut bar, so where can I strap it to.
