yeah James, I can give you the original EX-R rear sway bar. I am going to install the ST sway bar set soon enough.
Drove to Orillia to pick up the OZ's. Got a combined mileage of
7.58L/100km = 31.04 mpg US = 37.28 mpg UK
I am aiming for 7L/100km = 33mpgUS with the up-coming mods.

damn i was hoping you were gonna be selling the st rear sway haha.....I knew it wasnt likely tho.....thanks for the offer on stock sway.....I already have one tho
Am I to assume those are OEM Lancer rims .... They didnt come from Kijiji did they?
I was soooooo hoping you woukld get the Rikens though
Function-over-form Dustin, function over form.
I'll be adding the larger Vigor calipers up front, which are heavier. These wheels should lessen the unsprung weight. Plus, I can use a larger side-wall tire, which means better mechanical grip.
Yeap, they are off kijiji.

oh man V, I have always wanted a set of those rims...definitly one of my fave OEM style rims
one thing I would check though...is Im not sure if the bigger brakes are gonna fit under those OZs...remember Gs OZ rims and how close his wagon brakes were to the rim...just something to think about
Just swapped over the OZ rims, during my lunch brake. They are 15x6 42mm offset, where as the CB's wheels are 15x5.5 50mm offset. Brake caliper clearance is 5mm, will have to see how the Vigor brakes fit.
Driving impressions: Lighter wheels means the wheels rebound a lot faster. This makes the suspension feel more planted. The feeling is all very subtle. There is a pronounced thump from the tires I can hear now; most likely due to the faster rebounding tire hitting the ground, I could probably inflate the tires a little more to cure this. Overall, the ride seems smoother and more compliant.
Solutions: Koni Yellows, Tein H-Tech springs, Suspension Technique Sway bars, new bushings.

Yeah Chris, even now, with the regular brakes, I have about 5mm of clearance. I will have to test fit the wheels before the brake swap. If the brakes are too big, I'll just slap the 240SX wheels on then, I really like those wheels.

I wonder how much work it would be to have summer springs and winter springs.
