haha, go ahead buddy, just be prepared to sand for a while....those lines are deep, LOL. i used 320g on a sanding pad that attached to a drill. use 1/4 throttle or you'll melt it.

not every piece. much of the plastic on the interior is to soft to polish. you can only polish the hard, brittle plastic. later.

I'm currently working on a set of cd5 rims, and the oxidation was so bad from the lip inwards, and several on the spoke edges, and even on the rim of the circle where the caps go. So I decided to dremel the damn thing until I got most of it off.

Is there some sort of clear or plasticized coating on them? If so, is there something I can use to strip it? Coz when I polished the area that was grinded, it didn't look even at all. I was looking at some paint stripper, but it said not recommended for aluminums. Would appreciate any thoughts, thanks.
