Nope.. I will have better pics come this afternoon when there is a little more natural light in the garage. It's like a cave down there at night unless I break out the shop lights and its to late for that. Im off to bed.

Today's project:

Purchased a little Rubbing Compound to attempt to fix my oxidized hood, roof and trunk lid.


Washed the front end and got started in the worst spots before the rain started. Because of the rain, this is still a work in progress.


Took off and repainted my wiper arms since they were chipping/peeling badly and replaced my wiper blades. Still curing in the garage since it is now raining.


Finally got better pictures of my project from last week...



That's all for now. Hopefully I can get the rest of the oxidation taken care of and the wiper arms reinstalled tomorrow.

yessir. I still have the H in the middle and the Honda over on the drivers side. Turned out pretty well and I didn't have any trouble painting after I cleaned up the adhesive. Im happy with how it turned out for a rattle can job and my first DIY paint job. Just needed a little touchup where the adhesive had ate at the paint.

Yeah, and then when I went to put them back on, I managed to bend one of the blades somehow... I still dont know what I did, but it wouldnt fit against the windshield correctly so I had to replace that.

Everything looks good Mike, but you've got some misaligned panels in this one. That could be an easy fix.

COULD be, but it's not. I've been fighting with those damn things for the longest time.

I was looking at the panel under the tail light. I think if you fix that the rest will look a lot better.

Yeah, i gutted the rest of my trunk today hoping to get the that piece, got to it just as it got to be too dark to get much done. Hopefully tomorrow.
