    stupidest thing you have ever done to your car

    what is the stupidest thing you have ever done to a car?

    mine was when i made a radio antenna out of a welding filler rod and duct tapped it to my cb while i was in highschool. i was so proud of that thing!

    Put used motor oil into my civic. To be on the fair side the engine was already burning 1 quart of oil per 100 miles.

            Put cheap parts on it.

            Or in the process of putting cheap parts on it, tried to skip out on steps because I was lazy.

            Only have to learn that once. Or twice....

            30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
            27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

                Tried to put an 18 inch free air subwoofer in the trunk of a 94 ford escort. Sounded like shit. Only had it there for maybe a week before I went back to the 2 10s I had.

                Bigger is not always better when it comes to subs and compact cars.

                            well I didnt do a specific thing to the CB, but one winter this guy I knew wanted to show me some deer blinds..drove across a frozen corn field.. made it through saw the blinds and almost made it back out..got high centered on a drift and was dead in the water. he knew some guy whos house backed up to the field so I was like uhhh go get your friend and his 4x4, he got me out and that was the last offroad adventure for the CB. and I was slammed on ebay sleeves..so yeah lmao
