    tilt steering wheel

Our tilt wheel sucks. Its not even a tilt wheel it just gos up and down.
Has anyone ever done a swap to make it tilt the right? I was thinking it would be cool to put a newer honda wheel in like one that will move out of your way when you get in and out and go back when you start it.

I am not talking about a Telescoping wheel I just want it to tilt right, like the angle of the wheel. But Telescoping wheel would be cool. anyone ever do it?

those other " tilt " wheels are stupid as hell. I don't want my steering wheel at an obnoxious angle just to be a little bit higher up.

Never use that feature anyway but it's a good idea. I'd like to see it done.

My tilt is all the way down and I never move it. Still feels high sometimes.

Also that, and even though I'm only 5'10, feels like the seat should be able to move back another inch or 2 on the rails.

I've never seen it done. What honda vehicles have tilt/telescopic wheels that may work with ours?

My 65 and 67 Cadillacs had tilt/telescope, with the electric seat all the way back and tilted all the way back, you could drive like you were sitting in a recliner. My 63 T-bird had the swing-away, the wheel probably moved 12 - 15 inches to the right when you put the gear selector in park. Probably couldn't put these in an Accord.

What little motion there is in the Accords is welcome, I'm 6'5' - it is difficult to get in/out without raising the wheel, but I like it down when driving.

ya. and for the last year or so I've really felt like the OEM wheel is huge. Prob from driving the g/f 2009 cobalt which has a smaller steering wheel.
Ever feel like your steering huge like the old 50's cars?

I find our wheel size just right. Also the thickness is right on.

I hate Ford steering wheels that I literally need to wrap my around to grip them because they're as big as a tire.

If you get a chance try the cobalts 09+ wheel. Its small but has these extra thick areas at 10&2. IMO it feels more comfortable than ours.

Had a Cobalt on the lot at work. Didn't like it. Hate the cheap textured plastic material its made of.

                            I like my Lude wheel.

I think chrysler is the only good american car maker.
                              Gm has ok trucks.
