In a situation like that, good!
I do hate following someone that's slammed, or rolling on huge rims and rubberband tires. The road gets rough, and we're crawling so they can avoid every little pebble on the road. They swerve into the shoulder to avoid a 3mm raised manhole cover, and all the pissed off people behind them think they're pulling over, and attempt to pass... nearly getting hit when they swerve back over!

If YOUR hobby inconveniences ME, we have a problem.
I personally wouldn't damage another person's car, but that's just me. I know plenty of people that would be pissed off enough to find a car that irritated them and do a little damage.

it's funny you mentioned about people thinking they are pulling over... plenty of people, mainly the impatient dumb taxi drivers ( yes they have a very bad reputation in Boston ) have almost hit me.

If I lived in a small town or anywhere with less than a 2 lane road I'd definitely not be as low as I am, but I live in a big city with relatively good roads. I still drive about 5 under but I'm always in the far right lane unless I need to turn or something. Plus my speedos a bit slow so for all I know I'm going exactly the speed limit lol

I started out in the mini truck scene in the early 90,s and we had no ride quality , and and driveways and speed bumps forget that , I got my truck stuck on the frame like 5 times with the front wheels like 3 inches off the ground lol , carried lumber and a couple of jacks and hoped for the best lol.

Lowering most of my honda,s I always went low with 17,s , they handled good but rode like hell. my last civic I had coilovers and went with 14 inch hx wheels with a 65 series tire , the nice thing was I could get a nice drop and tuck tires but with the taller side wall it rode good. I,m not going to slam any more imports on larger wheels and low profiles anymore cause they ride like hell .

I love the look of a nicely drop vehicle but it needs to functional , like the new fad of drop it to the ground and mass camber I don,t get it each there own I guess , and If they like buying lots of tires lol. I will stick to nicely dropped and ride quality and functional over slammed any day now , if I want slammed I will just bag and body drop another mini truck , then hit the switch and clear speed bumps and ride great and laugh at vehicles that can,t . then just lay it out.

The guys that are slammed with crazy camber are probably running around on bald inner tires... it doesn't take long for that inner edge to wear. I've done it with much less of a drop in under 7,000 miles!

back in early mini truck days I could go thru a set of tires in less than 2 months, it was ok sorta but a little spendy , then I had kids and quit buying tires instead I bought diapers lol

lol that car is being whored all over the internet. Belongs to a young asian dude, hes on Nasioc.com I've seen the car in person and its super clean, only thing I don't like is that he has a single exit exhaust so the rear looks weird without the quad pipes.

As long as you replace the tires you wear out with a slammed car... and do so before they're unsafe, then it's not so bad (the use of an improper contact patch isn't all that safe, but still...)

Most of the obnoxiously slammed cars that you see in magazines and such aren't daily drivers. The bad thing is, kids see those cars and want to copy them. For about $900 TOTAL, you can slap on some 15" XXRs wrapped in cheap Ling Long tires, slam the car on stock shocks and "ebay" coils... and boom. Instant "stanced" deathtrap.

I think the sign that I'm finally growing up is that I don't have a desire to have a lowered car anymore. Well, that and dropping down from two subwoofers to one.

It's fun to be super low sometimes and we all know it looks MUCH better than the 4x4 status most cars have from the factory these days, but I truly don't miss all the hassles that come with it.

My old Accord had a CD5 GRacer lip that I had custom fit that was pretty hard to find and pricey by the time I got it on the car. I was always nervous driving around with that on the car. Anytime I hit a hard enough bump, I'd pull over and to check and see if the lip was still intact. I also had to yank the front bumper anytime I had to go up on a lift.

The sad thing is I wasn't even super low, I just had a wide front lip.

Slightly lowered is one thing. Slammed to the point of making the suspension system useless is another.
My CB7 is lowered on Neuspeed Sport. I like the drop very much. Perfect look, perfect increase in performance, very little compromise when paired with Koni Yellow shocks.

I sold mine to Dylan...his member name slips my mind at the moment, but he had Tein SS with ITRs and a roll bar...super nice car. I think he had it for 2 months and ruined it. He was much lower than me.

I had H&R race and Tokiko Illumina adjustables on my CB7, that felt pretty damn slammed to me, I'm still stock on the STi and I don't know if I want to go lower, maybe an inch or 1.5. I'm always paranoid of an animal hitting the bumper and cracking it.
