    Rough night..

So i took of this morning to work with nothing out of the usual with my car. Started right up without an issue and all was go.. Off to my 40 mile commute one way to work..

And then.. It dies about a block away from work, wont start and the battery died quick.. Weird, my fuel gauge was low and i knew i needed fuel but i didnt think i was THAT low... So i call up a buddy at work and he brings me a gallon of gas and a jump box.. Takes it a little trying but it starts up finally and i drive the half mile to work and all is well...

    Now for the fun..
After work i figure, hey i'm low on gas lets go fill up..

Then i get on the freeway and just start to head home like i always do. I get in the far left lane and am going along at about 65... couple minutes later it seems like its struggling to stay at speed.. I keep giving it gas and dont think too much.. its never had issues before...

So after this the road is kinda on a down hill slope for the next ten miles or so.. I cruse at about 70 no problem until the road starts to have a slight uphill slope..

Next thing i know the car has no power.. i go from 70 to 65.. then to 60.. then 55.. at this point im well aware something is wrong, all gauges look okay and its not overheating... Turn off my radio and all i hear is clanking and nasty noises coming from the engine, next thing i know my temp skyrockets and my radiator blows putting coolant all over my car..

The top of my radiator has chucks missing out of it and im pretty sure the motor is seized.

My guess is the water pump went out..

All this after i just put ALL NEW brakes on it literally yesterday.

So after all this happens i have made the decision to say F the mazda, I just bought 91kids blue 92 ex accord off him and will be back in the community.

Hmm. If you ran out of gas, it would have a chugging and misfiring feeling. Then you'd have like another half mile before you actually ran out.
Weird that your rad blew up though.

Sounds like what happened to my last car before I got the CB7, my temp gauge was busted and I was blowing steam out of my block before I knew it. Now at any signs of motor distress I pull over and check everything out, it's better to be late to work for fixing your car than to have to buy a whole other car. Good luck with the 92 ex.

Maybe the headgasket went and the pressure in the coolant system blew your radiator.

            Shitty deal man.

            Welcome back to the scene
