    Whoopee

So as you guys know I had my car in the shop and had the quarters replaced. Well guess what that caused. Yep, a MASSIVE trunk leak.

I currently have a cooler in my trunk to collect the water as it wasn't even a drip, but a solid trickle coming in. That's well, one of the leaks.

So now I have the leak there (which I doubt I can fix myself), the ubiquituous tail light leak, which is especially scary since going from the 90-91 to 92-93 trunk lights, I have an extra 194 the 92-93 doesn't have, which is getting water dripped on it. Also, I think I have a leak right by my antenna, can that be a gasket issue?

    I know this shouldn't be in O/T, but this isn't really a help thing...more just a rant.

How am I ever gonna be able to put my sub back in if I don't have a water tight trunk?

and no this isn't just a tail light issue...the tail light is just one issue

    /rant over.

WTF? Man... go back to the guy that did all the work and bitch him out! The trunk didn't leak before the work, which means HE did it. He should fix it!

I say bring it back to whoever did the work and make them do it right! They caused it, which means they should fix it!

You don't understand... I've been with warrior through this whole thing. I've heard him talk about selling the car, heard all the gripes about how much needed to be fixed... heard the headaches about the time it took, and the woes about the final price. Hell, I can probably claim a good deal of credit for him just HAVING the car still! I was a pushy bitch when he was trying to get rid of it After all he's been through, and all the car's been through (and all the money that's now in the body shop guy's pocket) he should have things fixed properly!

I'd go back to him and offer three options:

                1) Beat his balls and make him fix it so it won't leak.
                2) Beat his balls and get all your money back(and some extra too).
                3) Beat his balls, make him do it right, and take all his money.

I'd go with option 3 personally....

Well, it finally stopped raining for a few down here. The tail lights were barely in (I still want to regasket). Ditto for the antenna. The rear windows going to be the toughest part. I think once I tighten those, it'll help a lot.

Since I highly doubt he'll fix it for free (its been a LONG time coming) I might just go to a glass place and give them a couple of bucks to pop the trim for me. Then I can seal it up.

Yeah yeah, pat yourself on the back why don't you. Eh, when I show my tail lights to BOTH your cars, then I'll be happy.

i undestand dude, thats why i said kick his ass... the conversation between AW and the body guy should be something like this:

"Hey, you fucking testicle!! I paid you to do a job right! I didn't pay to get fucked!"

                    "What?"

"Don't what me motherfucker! You know what you did!"

                    "What?"

                    AW bitch slaps him

"SAY WHAT AGAIN!! Fix my shit before I used the hand with the ring!!"

                    "Ah... what?!"

AW slaps him with the other hand with a ring on it

or just dont and live with a water fall trunk

You'd need to take a trip down to Jersey to do that! The LX will see the tails soon enough though... when it's parked behind Ice when he's up on jackstands...

If you don't fix it by the 10th, let's take a ride... We can toss the guy in the trunk and hose it down real good... let him experience firsthand Then he'll fix it for free!

Nah, I hope the guy fixes it for ya!
