What Kind Of Car Do Your Parents Drive?

my dad drives a 1994 mitsubishi 3000GT SL in the summer and a 1989 BMW 750il in the winter (peice of crap). my mom drives a 2000 jaguar S-type 3.0 year round.

My parents car situation has changed a little.

my mom still has the Jaguar, but thats a winter car now. She bought a kitted black 96 eclipse RS convertible for the summer. I would have made sure it was at least a turbo, but . . . it wasnt my choice.

my dad sold the BMW (thank god), and replaced it with a 94 Lincoln MarkVIII. for a huge car, its pretty fuckin fast.

Mom drives an 06 Accord EX V6

Dad drives an 88 Accord LX.

My mom drives normal all the time.

My dad drives normal unless he needs to get out of a situation. Except on the highway...he is like me then and cruises 85-90 most of the time, although he has been known to exceed that if needbe.

Tek's sister- '91? Oldsmobile Toronado...thing looks like a car you'd see in GTA.
Tek's brother- '04 or '05 Ford F250...thing is huge, and a Yamaha Vstar.

Mom's drives a toyota 4-runner and a honda shadow Sabre (motorcycle). There both newer than 2000 but i don't recall what year.

Dad drives a 97 chevy blazer with a really shitty transmission and a Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide, and during the day he drives a 10-wheeler lumber truck.

I use to think that my parents drove fast and then I got my liscense. And since my dad's become a truck driver he doesn't take the highway anywhere so it always feels like it takes him forever to get where he's going.

JDM 1990 HDJ81 Landcruiser 4.2L Turbo Diesel

RHD, Full-time 4WD, triple diferential lockers, 10000lbs factory winch, 3" suspension lift, 33" tires, snorkel, OME bars, and all the factory JDM goodies

I love driving RHD cars, and I have a new found love for turbos now

It's great driving the truck, especially in this kind of weather..Guaranteed never to get stuck no matter what the road conditions are like

All other cars on the road seem to be so small now Going in a drive-thru is a pain tho

I've driven that car and it's smooth as butter. And if you barely press the pedal down like 40%.......throws my head back! That thing goes when you put the pedal to the ground! It's like 270-280HP and 250-270 tq I think. But it's a little wide and big for my taste.

my mom drives a 2003 Mazda Atenza (mazda6 usdm) she drives like an old lady who doesnt appreciate the car under her.
dad drove an R34 until recently when he called me and traded it in for a Toyota Prado (sp?) i guess basically a land cruiser with a turbo, the old man is getting just that, old.

btw, my parents live in Japan

the cars i remember my dad owning were an R31 skyline sedan, a Corolla II hatchback (which is basically an AE82), a 91 Prelude Si had what the us considers a 1992 body since the redesign happened in japan a year early (h23a1, ended up being my first car, fun with the 4ws) until i moved here

when he got the r34 he called me and toyed with my emotions, saying he would send the car here and how much fun it was to drive and even making fun of my beloved accords.


*edit* my younger sis is in college in Tenessee and i recently gave her my old b15 (01 Sentra) shaved everything, custom painted by yours truly, 18's, lowered, intake exhaust blah blah, basic rice for her to toy with the boys in college (im such a good brother). she drives like any 20yr old with a rice burner (read: idiotically)
