As noted looks like aftermarket, and since the door cards/lining wasn't done someone was trying to save some $$$.

From what I've noted online and read here, outside of the '91 SE and '93 SE (for USDM), there was no factory leather installed. This means no factory option to add leather either. Therefore, any other CB7/CB9 had aftermarket, or dealer installed leather.

This would also explain why people have seen blue and maroon as well. Such examples had leather all-around which could have been dealer done.

i saw a stock cb7 today in japan town but with some type of oem style kit on it?

it wasnt some whacky ass F&F kit, but reminded me of like a JDM-spec from the factory kit.

Like Mr.vinyl said, there was no option for leather.
It wasnt offered.
They did come standard on the SE's (91 & 93)
Now i've seen a few Canadian Cb's with black leather.
I've seen two 92/93 Black EX-R's with Black leather that have been to work.

I dont know if it was offered up there.
But im guessing since it wasnt offered here, that it wasnt offered up there.
More than likely they were aftermarket....

FYI: The '93 SE was the last accord to use Real genuine leather.
94+ Accords had that real type looking, fake leather.
They have changed the texture of the leather on the newer ones 03+.
Feels better than before, still not real tho....

I've seen every interior color and color combo with leather in it. I'm sure the majority were dealer optioned, as a way to spice up the car (and price).

I've seen Accord in my color with leather (my color was a 90 LX only color...but available in 91 in DX form) in the past. I've seen landau roofs, luggage racks, all kinds of weird options done up.

Has anyone noticed a correlation between cars with dealer leather and rare options?

What's weird though is when you see cars that are "unmodded" for all intents and purposes, yet don't make sense.

In the past two weeks I've seen a 91 DX that was relatively beat up with an older woman driving and it had one-piece headlamps that weren't projectors. They appeared to be JDM...where'd those come from?

I was crossing at an intersection and saw a blue-green 91 SE that was stick. Unless it was an EX painted the SE color and had dealer leather...but it was definitely stick. Where'd that come from?
