Sucks to hear about him. I hear racing in the wrong spots and talkin smack will sometimes get you messed up depending on what part of town your at. It has happened in Dallas.

He's definitely not someone to keep himself out of bad situations. Certainly not the cautious type, or one that thinks ahead before he acts. Still, he's not malicious... and anything that he could've said or done wouldn't have deserved this.

I'm pretty sure he emailed me from his phone (it came from a number), so just the fact that he's alright enough to care about telling us what happened means he's OK. His jaw was broken in 3 places, and he was still in the hospital at the time of the email, I think.

Yea i dont think it had anything to do with that, i mean he did go to gainesville and meet some new peeps...i guess its possible...but i just dont feel that it has to do with racing, betting, etc.

Exactly. We have no idea what the reasons were. My cousin got his jaw broken by a guy walking down the street. They were the only two there... dude walked past him and just decked him. No reason. My cousin didn't even know the guy. He could've been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or, he could've done something to instigate it. Either way, it's pretty severe. Nobody deserves that.

He was flown to the hospital as well. I didn't mention that in the original post.
