I was like wat the fuck...and I saw it hi-lighted lesbian in somebodys sig...Theres some crazy new ads goin on.

Wow... Ok, time for Clicksor to go.

I'll be looking to get focused advertisers eventually, but does anyone know of another good ad provider like Clicksor or Google Adsense? Clicksor has so far given us viruses and is now highlighting foul language with those big green boxes (that were NOT part of the scheme I selected!) I've been in touch with my account manager, and she keeps telling me they're working on it... I'm sick of waiting. I don't get paid nearly enough to put up with this, and it's making the site look bad. How can I enforce a "no foul language" rule (at least in titles and VERY noticable places... like sigs, HUGE letters, etc...) while we have it popping up in the ad boxes? No more. I'm done with them.

Any suggestions for another provider would be appreciated! I don't get much from the ads, but it's something... every little bit helps!

Damn Deeve i was going to pm ya about this because the other day(cant remember if i was at work of home) but either way it doesnt matter because i have sufficient security at home and at work the pcs are secured since its military but i had a popup come up when i clicked a thread link(not a link to a pop up or off site link) and it asked me to install dr doom or some shit and i was like oh hell no and i cancelled and went back and tried to click again to make sure i clicked the right thing and it asked again and i cancelled and closed the browser and restarted and havent seen it since.

But yea clicksor should go...i know its income but i dont think its worth it from what i see....

I dont have any suggestions off hand but i could do some research for ya.

Its not doing it anymore from wat I can see....but i scanned for adware like starchland said so that might be why.

The graphical banner ads (which I have once again disabled) were the source of the adware/spyware/virus/whatever. Supposedly they have been disabled on Clicksor's end as well... but I don't trust that.

Their contextual advertising (those green boxes) used to fit the color scheme. While they were annoying, they weren't terribly intrusive. Now they're huge and annoying. They get in the way. Add in the fact that they pick up profanities and highlight them and I'm just fed up.
