I need help ASAP.... new trunk

Hey guys... I have a question...

Tomorrow I am picking up a 9293 black trunk, with spoiler and tails.... will it fit in my backseat? I know people have done crazy car packing, but i need to know if the trunk will fit in the back seat... i have no trunk because of my subs, so that's not an option... the trunk is 51.25" across the widest part.... should it fit?

Thanks so much... i need to make an hour and half drive with it fitting comfortably..

you can always just tilt your passanger seat all teh way down and just put it in through there if you cant angle it right in the back seat

I pulled out my passenger and rear seats to ensure my carbon fiber trunk would fit. It was a pain to get it in there, but it fit fine. Not sure how easy it would be to fit it with the back seat still in, but the passenger seat probably didn't need to come out. I just had to drive a really long way, so I made SURE it would fit!

It will fit, as it's been said.

Put the top of the trunk on the bottom cushion, and let the tails sit against the back cushion.

There's plenty of room, just take your time.

EDIT: You said it had a spoiler? That may complicate things, as the spoiler is wider than the trunklid. Just take a few measurements before you go. The worst case scenario would be just to take out all the seats.

ok so i removed my subs, and my trunk is stripped to nothing..no spare tire or floor or anything... with the seat folded down, will it fit in thr trunk/backseat for sure?

I fit a 9293 trunklid between the front seats and the back seats on the floor for a 5 hour drive to n.c. just so my Lil sister could have a place to sleep on the the way up. so yeah it can be done.

Edit: I just looked at the date of this thread. July 18, 2007 WTF was this bumped up for?

Yes the trunk will fit in the back seat, I did it when I got my 92/93 trunk

I also put my 92 front bumper in the backseat (one side hanging out the back window )

EDIT: Wow I feel dumb posting on an old threat, reading pwns me
