i have 5 speeding tickets.

never go hard when anyone else is on the road so i have just been unfortunate.. im just addicted to speeding i guess. well lets see:

1)42 in a 30(almost into the 40 zone,bullshit ticket)

2)i belive this is the 60 in a 40.. same place as first, but i was at the end of the short 40 zone and almost to 50. yep, cop didn't see it my way, tick..

3)well well well..... on the way back from louisville kentucky i was all alone on the interdstate at 5 in the morning.... didn't even realize it, but ended up getting a ticket for 94 in a 65 oh my god, my life is sucking now...

4)dad nearly disownded me for this.. country road out by wherei used to live... state cop hiding out where they never never never were ever at.. in like 8 years i lived there.. i go for a high fun drive, welp, i get pulled over going 78 in a 35... 43 over.. i got totally about fucking shot by the cop, and i felt tears almost form in my eyes.. he may have felt sympathetic, or he was dumb, but the ticket i got was wrote as a 78 in a 55. still 23 over, but better than 43 over.

5)by now, speeding tickets aren't meaning shit, ive just stopped caring since i never have warnings like some people get. cops are picking me out now, and i just got the last thing i expected, another speeding ticket. this was a 71 in a 55. open road even,

why dont they worry about drug dealers or something..now before anyone tells me about the you could kill yourself an others speech, any goon could control a car going 70's and 80's so dont tell me it please. anyways, thats my look on it. yep i still have a license

Well to you maybe it's a stupid idea, but to me it was definitely worth it. Where I live I would have lost my license for that most likely, and like I said the cop didn't even pull out so technically I wouldn't have gotten in anymore trouble had I gotten pulled over later because I wasn't running from him. Everyone has different opinions on going fast so lets not turn it into an argument over that. From what I have heard from one of my teachers, 70 mph is supposed to be like the max speed people can safely react. I think that is kind of a stupid generalization because some people are better drivers and some cars are set up better to react more quickly also so that's not necessarily true for everyone. IMO going after drug dealers is an equal waste of time, but yeah I agree with your point that there are a lot more productive things for cops to be doing.

I hit 130mph in my 91 Lx on more than a few occasions. I like hauling ass and I Have a fairly safe stretch of highway to do it on. but now I have azenis on my car and I top out at 125mph cuz of the lower profile

125 on the gauge, which I imagine might be 130, since I know radars read me at 30 when it says ~28.

Man I got my car going 126 with the sunroof down it was crazy and took a long time with the sun roof down. Its amazing how smooth it is at those speeds. Dude i know the feeling of the speeding tickets. Hell I only got 2 speeding tickets and i lossed my licence for 6 months. Sucks if you are under 18 and get two then you get suspended. The last one was bull too. So I have to wait till June to be behind my wheel again. But whatever I ride my bike now and its good for me. Plus this gives me plenty of time to fix up my car. I am saving up money for some speakers right now and Im gonna get my windows tinted for my birthday. So its no biggy, it just makes the summer a lot better. I was thinking about some pioneer 3 ways. Well whatever...

Probably a noobie question, but I tried searching. Why are you guys switching to EX ECU's? Are they programmed differently for the engines with more HP? I know Honda switched their top model it seems almost every year so for a 1992 Accord LX, is there another ECU I should get instead of an EX, or will I not really notice a performance difference at all? Thanks!

125mph for about 20 miles. i read someone blew by a statie goin pretty fast and he didnt turn on his lights, same here i think the guy was sleepin at his post or was just too lazy to get his ass movin, no lights or anything. hah!

i DID get clocked by the airborn police...you guys have those anywhere else? in FL they have choppers cruising ove northbound i75...anyways i got clocked goin 100 in a 70 in my moms A6t. 180$ and 4 points later, i wasnt speding anymore.

wtf, my ecu only allowed me to go 117 is there any way around that? I got 2 speeding tickets
1) wide open freeway @ 2 am, 80 mph in a 65 (BS!!!)
2) 58 in a 35 mph zone (fuckin school police, SCHOOL WAS OUT!)

Does anyone know if those radar things work?

I got a radar detector...lets me know just in enough time to slow down. On my interstate there are never cops and if there are you can easily see them. Around city roads I only go around 7-10 AT THE MOST over, usually its 5 or with the flow. I'm not reckless but my Radar detector has warned me a few times of upcoming cops...before I could even see them. It was only $53 at wal-mart too.

damn i should be running around a 16.4. i ran 17.0 at 84 mph. damn wheel hop sucks

Lower the pressure on your tires and you'll get rid of that wheel hop. You will be suprised as to how much of a difference it makes.

I topped 110 coming home from Honda Day... Broke formation to do it That's all I dared to do though. I couldn't afford to pay points on somethng like that!

Also, lowering the pressure in your tires isn't always a good idea. Street tires are made to have the most contact at stock pressure. reduce the pressure and the contact patch buckles, givining you less tire with witch to get traction. Of course, a slight change could help things a little... I tried it for my last run when I raced, and I seemed to have gotten a slightly better takeoff.
