Nah, the Vector Control people do that. We test for chlorine, ph, cyanuric acid. Drowning prevention. But only community pools-apartment pools, hotel/motel pools, school pools, mobile home park pools and home owners association pools.

It's basically about drowning and desease prevention, and overall safety.
We are always closing pools for to much or to little chlorine. Other reasons too, but thats the most common reason.

I've heard people say you can go to court and say your car isnt running and you plead guilty and just pay the fine... then personally ive had to deal with going to the ref and having him do a full visual and sniffer test.. I got a ref ticket in my accord and they caught me for having a adjustable fpr and noticed the euro r manifold wasnt similar to a 92-95 predlude. so they arent regular smog techs, who dont know shit about motors, I dont mean to scare you but, make sure you have all your sensors hooked up, and that your cat is hot...The Chula Vista smog ref is chill, but as with most places, if your nice to the person, then they will be nice to you. dont go in there with a pissy attitude, because he could f@ck you over... Good luck, you could do some research on how to get it cleared, but technically its illegal to drive your car if you have the vc 27156! I believe that is the vehicle code for modified emmisions... Sucks sorry to hear this happened but do what you have to do to get it taken care of..

yeah it was tab cops.. hate it.. each car that rolled in from the back was pulled over. an evo was pulled over and was given the exact same thing i was given even when he had a loud ass exhaust and a loud bov...

i know i'll pass the smog test by the ref., i just didn't wanna go do ittt!!!!! My court date is Oct 3. I need to have the state ref test done by then, but i'm leaving for the philippines next wed and won't be back till sept 29. so...

but i'm glad cb7 guys didn't come down or else all of us woulda got tickets. Can anyone give me an estimate as to how much a state ref test costs? thanks for the tip bmx'. i'll have to look all these up before i do an h22 swap
