heres whats new with my car i finally finished blackhousing these bitches and they came out clean

Those amber corners look great. I guess you sprayed a lighter coat of yellow then I did.

yea each side had 3 coats at first i didnt notice but right before when i put them back together one corner light was darker than the other so i just added another coat to even it out

if you get particles of dirt inside you headlights after sealing it off you can wash it out using distilled water. distilled water doesn't leave spots when it dries! FYI

david,did you clean the lense at all? Thinking of rebaking to clean up the lense, because it's not crystal clear.

well technically it only took me all day since i satrted in the morning and fnished them up in the night but in total i prlolly spent less that 5 hours on the whole project since i would leave the paint to dry with the fan hitting them for a while so it can dry up fast it was simple and straight forward everything comes out so it makes it easier to blackhouse them

no the headlights i got were mint they looked almost brand new i ust cleaned them up a bit but it wouldnt of made a differene since they were clean already

Hell yeah.. Thats good, now you can concentrate on other things.. For the future if your car doesn't pass, you can look into the CAP program, basically you pay 100 and the state pays up to 500 dollars on needed repairs. Basically the smog shop works on your car, and they get it to legally pass smog.. I'm pretty sure you couldn't use it this time because of the transfered title, but in 2 years time if you still have this car, use the program..
