ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I thought about the 06/07 fogs as well. I need a cheaper alternative to the million dollar stock fogs. Plus they're getting harder and harder to find online, you have to buy them second hand or get lucky and pick up a set off a fellow member.

Those stock bumper lights look good photoshopped, but wouldn't the lens melt? I mean if you used H3's for example they'd concentrate so much heat into one area I'd imagine the lenses would at least get soft when they were turned on...

Keep this going Jaber, it'll be interesting to see what you end up figuring out

    life is good.

these might fit no prob in the grill portion of cb bumpers..just need to do some measuring and figure out the dimensions of those fogs...but eventually i think i might try those fogs out

wish i could get my hands on some fogs and start checking dimensions. as far as bulbs, maybe we can find something that wont melt the plastic....i did consider using a turn signal bulb from some sort of SUV maybe? it should give me little lighting and not burn the plastic. or what about the bulbs we use for the tail lights? i know they wont light up the street too well but for someone who wants it for looks (like i am) it shouldnt be too bad

yeah, im sure you could find something. I'm interested, I thought about it a long time ago but figured I wouldn't bring up the bumper light fog idea because I thought I'd get flamed lol. I guess if not fogs, you could add a second set down there as running lights maybe?

right now i have my high beams set as daytime running lights (i just disconeected the low beams cus one burnt out lol) but i just finish taking apart the 90 civic bumper lights and i think they will be perfect, their a little wider than the cb but my only prob so far is that they curb only a little in towards the engine, also got this idea while trying them on.....putting the 90 civic lights on the legend lip? they have enough space to fit flush but not sure how they would look because its dark and i only held one on, this is something you have to step back and look at

^true, true. Sounds neat actually. I'd be interested to see what bumper lights off an ED would look like, anywhere on the front end of our cars for that matter. They do have similarities to our bumper lights I guess..(kind of?) lol.

The 9293 bumper light fog idea would be cool though, if you do it dude, pics puleease

you could probably use LEDS so they won't melt the plastic

That looks sick man. I actually thought about doing something similar...relocating the bumper lights to where OEM fogs would go, not sure if it would look good though.
